PETER'S EXPERT EYE
Wessel Huisman (1954) and I were both on the Art Fair 2012 in Shanghai when we met. I already saw his incredible collection, not knowing the artist was on site as well!
Although I was familiair with his work already, we never met in Holland.
Coincidence or fate?
Not only we share our love for art, we are also both very impressed by composer Eric Satie. Wessel plays 'Gnossiennes' every morning, while meditating and writing down his thoughts for the day to come.
Wessel has a non-stop fascination for light and space.
His paintings refer to times and places in a way that impresses so much, that you would like to be part of the world represented in his work.
We enjoy the collection in our gallery every day. International collectors are in Miami, China and Italy.
